Our Purpose
Abiding Love International Fellowship (ALIFE) is an Evangelical, charismatic church established in February 2006 with a mandate to serve the Greater Trenton area of New Jersey. Our goal is to build a local assembly of believers that demonstrates the love of God towards all men.
Our specific objectives are to:
(1) Bring unbelievers into experiencing the unconditional love of God; (2)Educate new believers about their relationship to God and to one another; and (3) Help maturing believers to advance to higher levels of spirituality and maturity through advanced teaching and training that will help them discover and use their spiritual gifts.
We endeavor to achieve these objectives through the following four Christ-centered and people-oriented programs:
Evangelism: Presenting Jesus to those who are yet to know Him.
Compassion: Meeting physical and spiritual needs.
Discipleship: Developing believers to become Christ-like.
Mission: Demonstrating the love of God for all "nations".
If you are thinking about attending a church or looking for a home church, we invite you to join us in this quest. Our weekly Sunday program begins with Sunday school at 10 a.m., followed by the Worship Service at 11 a.m. Our adult Bible study and Youth group take place every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. All of our services and programs take place at our new property located at 210 Genesee Street in Trenton, NJ 08611.
Our Pastors
Pastors Akin and Kemi Bankole: Pastor Akin is Abiding Love's Lead Pastor. Pastor Kemi is Co-Pastor. They are both licensed under the American Evangelical Christian Churches. Prior to pastoring the Abiding Love congregation, they had served the Lord in several capacities, including as Associate Pastor and Director of Children Ministry, respectively. In addition to pastoring, they also currently lead the Princeton Chapter of the United Gospel Fellowship International (UGFI), a position they have held since December 1996. Pastor Akin and Pastor Kemi each holds a doctorate degree.
