The 2010 Easter season is in sight. It is a wonderful time of the year when we celebrate the greatest expression of love: God, in His Son Jesus Christ, laid down His life for mankind that you and I may have our own lives. It is the season when the Scripture was fulfilled that says "For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son for whosovever believes in Him should not die but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

The all important question is: Have you accepted this unparallelled and unconditional gift of love? You may ask: Why do I need to accept this love? The answer is the Bible says that "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). And the Bible also says that "...the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). So, to avoid spiritual death, which is eternal separation from God and life in hell when you depart from this world, you must accept this unparalelled gift of love. It is the only way you can have eternal life, everlasting life with God.

"How do I accept this gift?", you may say. It is simple: (1)Admit that you are a sinner who needs a Savior. (2) Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He came to this world to die for your sin. (3)Accept Him as your Lord and Savior. (4) Confess your sins, ask God for forgiveness and make a promise to God to henceforth live a Godly life. If you do this sincerely and honestly you have become born again into the family of God. You are a new creation and no longer under the law of sin and death (Romans 8:1-20. Congratulations!
