2010: A Year of Divine Remembrance
It may seem strange that it will be said of God that He will remember His people, as if He ever forgets them. In other words, how can an Omniscience God forget?
True, God never forgets. But in several passages of the Scripture the phrase "God remebered" is used to indicate God's appointed time to answer His people's petitions or meet their needs. This is particularly the case when the problem has lingered for a long time. In Genesis 30:22 the Bible says "And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkend to her, and opened her womb." Also, in 1 Samuel 1:19b the Scripture says "and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the Lord remembered her." In both of these cases age long problems of barreness became a thing of the past following what the Bible refers to as God remembering these two women.
As He did in the cases of Rachel and Hannah, God will remember His people this year (2010) to do mouth opening miracles in their lives. Some have been seeking the Lord concerning certain matters in their lives or lives of their loved ones for periods of varying lengths and others it is not so much the length of time they have been facing the challenge, it is the intensity of the problem. The Lord will specially look upon these ones in 2010 to deliver them from those situations.
If you are in this category of God's people, we hope you are delighted with this promise and are expectant. It does not matter what the situation may be or how long it has been or what may have been said concerning it. Nothing is impossible for the God that we serve and He will watch over His Word concerning you to perform.
Remain blessed.
